a long time waiting

it's been a long time since
i last wrote anything on this blog
i could access blogger.com
i wanted to exhale

i've been wanting to write about
a friendship rekindled
the dreaded yet aimed weighty journey
this stranger i chose to trust

i have been waiting for quite sometime now
amazingly my patience has outlived the disaster
laughingly i wanted to smile
tearfully i wanted to sleep

to share a smile with someone else
& impart knowledge to a down trodden
are the things i wanted to do
and are the things i did instead
