How are the tides?

dawning beyond prepubescent
i have despised the shore
the sun, the sand and the burn
...don't like...(hahahaha)
but then again
even when there are things
things that we don't appreciate much
we unnowingly absorb something
and it surpasses our conciousness
it may be a learning thought
it may be a silent inspiration
it may be stuff long sought
it may be a fervid emotion
however it transports to us
it doesn't matter
it is our own "trip"
our own "journey"
that it affects
and then it begins to matter
"HOW ARE THE TIDES?"
i prithee answer
because life is like the shore
to what i say there's more
the sand is warm,
the water is cold
the waves rush in without notice
and the sun burns a painful tanned glow
ocassionally you'll find
what we locally call "lusay"
and at times you see
a bursting "butiti"
but please listen to me!
the sand, the water
the sun and the waves
the lusay, the butiti
they are what you let them be
now do you dig me?
that all these could be
your friends
your family
your aspirations
your detractors
your work
or even
your self
however, apparently
not everyone hates the sea
not everyone would agree with me
the reason may vary and the following may be
we had different scenic views
we had different motivations
we had different sentimental values
we had different histories--HIS STORIES
it's all upto you
really
it's all about your outlook
works for me

i'd be glad to hear from you
and listen to your grief
be silent with you
when you need peace
i'll be happy to share with you
how beautiful i see the sun ray glisten
read with you
the words your heart has carefully written
i'll be where i am
even when you don't need me
because it is home
even when the thought of you i've set free

i guess i'm just being human
being hopelessly stubborn
wanting to have what i never can
even when you left me torn
